Dropbox is ideal for easy sharing
Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox for Business
We use Dropbox to share files and work on projects with our clients and suppliers. We also send backups of our websites to clients using Dropbox shared folders.
Pros
- Easy sharing of folders and files.
- Multiple user access to folders and files.
- Securing and backing up of vital files to offsite locations.
Cons
- Scheduling of synchronisation time to limit demand on broadband.
- Speed up sharing documents with clients. We used to send files via cd.
- Allows us to keep backups of important files offsite - so securing our vital data.
- Preview option allows us to check files before downloading them.
- Large files that are too big to email can be sent easily with the inclusion of a link in the email.
Google Drive is also very good for storing backups of files however, sharing files between clients and suppliers isn't as easy or intuitive as Dropbox.
