Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm a primary admin of the Druva Data Resiliency Cloud, I schedule backups and restores and related policies. The product helps us to minimize our efforts in managing the costs and human resources involved in our IT backup devices and support. The product has been extremely useful to us and we are really happy with it.

Pros and Cons

It provides us excellent cloud protection and immutability of our data
The Support team always helps resolve our tickets and issues in time
It provides us minimum login screens to take care of different backups and restores of multiple devices and servers.

The ticket opening steps could be fewer
The pricing is good but could still be better
We would like some better support on weekends.

Return on Investment

We have definitely seen a nice ROI and cost-savings thanks to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud in our IT hardware investment
The product has provided us excellent time saving and efficiency too
So far all our backups and restores have been successful so we're well prepared for any outage.

Druva inSync Support for SaaS Apps and Endpoints

We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud for protecting our Endpoints and Gsuite, along with some servers- so far all the backups and restores seem to be perfect and we're so happy that we might even consider bringing our O365 landscape to the Druva Data Resiliency Cloud too. Our shared drives also seem to work really well and efficiently.

Scalability

From the time we have been with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud, we have faced smooth and easy scaling up of all the new workloads and backup policies that we have added. Whatever help we needed the Support team provided to us without any issues and we're confident of scaling up further into Oracle, O365 and other parts of our IT environment as well.

Alternatives Considered

Veeam Backup & Replication

While both Druva Data Resiliency Cloud and Veeam serve our purpose well, Drive provides a better ROI and service overall. We also don't experience backup failures with it, the GUI is also single and unified to use once you start getting used to it well. So I personally like Druva Data Resiliency Cloud a bit more than veeam and will continue using it.

Likelihood to Recommend

I looks really well suited for IT environments that involve multiple data centers, physical locations and devices, along with the need for Ransomware Recovery and Legal Holds related compliances.
The only drawback seems that the GUI can sometimes take some time getting used to for the new admins, so there's a little learning curve.

Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is an excellent and trustworthy backup solution
