Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud for multiple purposes like our Endpoints, hybrid workloads and cloud apps.We use it on a large scale and it helps us manage our resources better and saves us a ton of work and human and IT resources. It also makes sure that we don't need to have data on our on-prem servers so that's a huge plus.

Pros and Cons

It provides excellent cloud protection and immutability of backups.
The Support and Customer Success teams are 24/7 and proactive
It also supports multi region support both for Europe and USA.

The backups could be more continuous instead of scheduled at specific times of the day
Still waiting for Druva Data Resiliency Cloud
to start supporting Azure.
Takes some time getting used to the console at first.

Return on Investment

has saved us a bunch of costs in IT and physical hardware resources
It also makes sure that we don't need to hire extra Network and Cloud Admins to manage our backups.
The product is encryted and repels ransomware so that's also really helpful financially.

Druva inSync Support for SaaS Apps and Endpoints

We protect everything in our O365 and Endpoints like Sharepoint, Exchange, Teams and OneDrive- it has been wonderful and we've never faces any issues either with the deployment or the implementation and post-go live Support. The dashboard is super easy to navigate once you get used to it and the backup and retention policies are really easy to manage too.

Scalability

So far Druva Data Resiliency Cloud has been able to manage easily and smoothly all of our scaling up and growth capabilities, we are also planning to add a bunch of more servers in a new location in a different part of the globe and Druva Data Resiliency Cloud has also committed to easy deployment and scaling up, so we're looking forward to more growth.

Alternatives Considered

Rubrik and Veeam Backup & Replication

We evaluated Druva Data Resiliency Cloud, Veeam and Rubrik all at the same time prior to onboarding, we even used Veeam before switching over to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud. The primary reasons we chose Druva Data Resiliency Cloud were the better pricing, much easier and smoother deployment compared to Veeam during our proof of concept trial with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud. Also, their teams are available 24/7 even on weekends. So we're very happy with our decision.

AWS workloads also provide great backup speed, bandwith savings and the dedup is amazing- we get it 3 times over.
