Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

We use Druva for client and SaaS backups, it addresses the problem of hiring too many IT employees in our team to manage our backup and protection landscape.
It helps us not keeping storage on any hardware that we have to manage ourselves; we just back the data to the Druva client and it sends it to the secure AWS cloud.
  • The dashboard is intuitive and easy to manage and navigate.
  • It takes very little bandwidth and internet speed to perform both restores and backups.
  • The tech support is available any time of the week, even on off days- so we always get help whenever we require it.
  • Multiple ways of importing users into the Druva platform is impressive and afford flexibility.
  • Advanced Ransomware Recovery doesn't work for all Druva offerings, that would be a great feature to have.
  • The archiving feature could also offer more price flexibility.
  • Seating up the initial configurations can be a little tedious due to the length of the documentation involved.
  • The backup-related processes have most definitely simplified a lot since everything is automated through the Druva GUI once the initial policies are set up.
  • We have saved a good amount of money by going to the cloud as opposed to managing both IT and hardware resources in-house.
  • The backups and restores are both more secure and quicker now with Druva and the AWS cloud.
We use Druva to backup our Endpoints( Macbooks and Windows PCs), Salesforce regular and Seeding users and along with the M365 environment; including SharePoint, OneDrive, Excahnge and Teams.

Druva is pretty effective in backing up these variety of workloads that we keep adding. The backups are smooth, the restores are quick and the Druva client runs seamlessly on our devices. SaaS apps are also easily backup up by generating the token and the policies are easily modifiable.
Druva in our experience has great potential for scaling up; we have never faced any data or speed-related issues in either adding any devices or apps to our backup environment.
The Druva AWS servers are location in multiple locations around the world and any data we add automatically gets stored on the nearest AWS storage site, which maintains high speed and scalability without causing any bottlenecks.
We evaluated both Druva and Rubrik during our vendor search. What made us choose Druva was the better pricing and quality of features that were vexing offered. It was a great fit for our business need of keeping our backups on-prem.
The proof of concept also went really well with Druva as compared to Rubrik's free trial, it's also a comparatively simpler solution.
