Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

We use Druva for backing up our M365 environment. Our business problem was that we didn't have a valid backup and recovery landscape for our M 365 users, and that's where Druva came into the picture and helped us from the very beginning.
We have been incredibly happy and the solution works as we expected.
  • We like the option of downloading backed up files both individually and as a group.
  • The ransomware protection is a security feature that puts our minds at ease when it comes to the safety of our data.
  • The Customer Success team does frequent reach outs and technical health checks.
  • Sometimes some special firewall policies need to be created to give access to the Druva backups and restores.
  • Some ransomware features aren't available as in-depth for some workloads as they are for the others.
  • Sometimes there are bugs that come up during importing of users from SCIM.
  • It has saved us a good chunk of time since the product pretty much runs itself once the initial settings are made.
  • It also seamlessly backups up data from the users based outside the office location.
  • Switching to the Druva cloud has saved us a lot of money as well in the long run.
We use Druva to protect our M365 environment; including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
It has been a really good experience so far. The backups and restores are both handled efficiently and without much issues.
We also use it to meet our compliance policies by preserving the data of the users that have left our organisation.
When we first got onboarded with Druva we started with a few user mailboxes and SharePoint sites. With time we increased both the amount of data and workloads that get protected by Druva and we haven't really faced any issues at any point.
So we can definitely vouch for Druva's scalability features and potential.
While making our decision we looked at both Druva and Rubrik. We liked Druva's interface better and members of our team were more familiar with the product.
Also, from a pricing and features-related point of view Druva came across as a more well-rounded solution, so we decided to proceed with them.

Yes

Would you buy Druva Data Resiliency Cloud again?

Druva is a definitely well suited for backing up SaaS apps; both mailboxes and other information in the cloud. I would highly recommend it for teams looking to go completely on the cloud instead of keeping all data on-prem.
Less suited for teams that don't necessarily wish to utilize the cloud.
