Duo, a great easy to use tool
Overall Satisfaction with Duo Security
We use it for our two factor authentication for externally facing or cloud based applications. We only deploy it for users that have these needs. Some of these services are Remote Desktop, OWA, Salesforce, ScreenConnect and the like.
It helps secure our organization from credential theft via brute force attacks, phishing, and the like. We love the end user experience. When they log in they don't need to pull out their phone, pull up an app or a text message with a code, and then enter it in. All they have to do is touch a push notification and then hit an approve button and they're logged in.

Pros
- Very easy to setup
- Integrates with many different services
- A great end user experience
Cons
- While it works with a lot of services, could work with more
- Prevented brute force of multiple accounts
- Prevented use of stolen credentials via phishing
I tried out Deepnet DualShield. It was great in that it integrated with so many solutions. However, it was sooooo clunky and very buggy. Duo was such a better solution
Evaluating Duo Security and Competitors
- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Product Reputation
- Vendor Reputation
The most important factor was ease of use, both for the administrator that manages Duo and the end user that's actually using 2fa.
I wouldn't! I loved that there is a free trial too so you can try it out before you make a big commitment.
