Overall Satisfaction with EverString

Digital Marketing and Account Based Marketing used EverString. We used it to gather intent data on our most important accounts to give us a better idea of who out of our target accounts were searching on relevant terms. This helped us to understand who was currently a good fit for our product and what topics would be best for us to leverage in connecting with them.
  • Gathers good intent data.
  • Not very intuitive.
  • Anonymous data on users.
Personally I think additional training would have been beneficial - I received very little training on the tool and didn't really find it intuitive. It took me a long time to figure out how to gather even minimal data, and I'm not really sure what EverString can do beyond the little I figured out. I'm not sure what their training options are.
Moderately satisfied. It was helpful for it to show which accounts were surging and to what degree they were surging, along with identifying which pre-selected topics were being searched for. I understand why the activity remained anonymous but of course it would've been more helpful to see contacts that were surging rather than just companies.
We used EverString to track ABM target accounts and to show us which of those accounts were surging on specified relevant topics. This helped us to identify which accounts might be good to target on a more personalized basis based on those topics we knew they were searching on. However, this data changes frequently so it was more of a 'good to know' than a trigger tool.
I'm not really sure how this helped our sales team. From an ABM marketing perspective, I shared with sales on a weekly basis which accounts were surging on which topics, but it was more of a "good to know" thing since the surge data changed so frequently. I do think it was valuable information, though.
We used EverString because it was a legacy tool. We've opted out of renewing.
EverString shows good intent data from companies you select. It gives you a percent rating on how much intent there seems to be for each company on specific topics that are relevant to your company. It does NOT show you who at the company is showing the intent and it also doesn't show you exactly what their searches are - or if it does, I couldn't figure out how. I didn't find the tool particularly intuitive.
