Overall Satisfaction with ExakTime
I use ExakTime to process payroll and import it to Sage 300 Construction.
I have 45 employees who use the ExakTime app on their mobile devices to clock in and out daily. We have a complex payroll usage and need multiple locations and equipment options for the employees to use. The ExakTime app allows us to program these features. But a problem that I have encountered is the training from ExakTime to learn how to use these is limited. The representatives refer you to the written manual instead of offering one on one training of any kind.

- They have the option to create different locations, equipment, and cost codes as needed
- Prompting employees to take pictures and sign their time sheets when done with the week
- ExakTime added Covid-19 options to their app regarding health
- Offering different options for training on the ExakTime app.
- More compatible with Sage 300 Construction, not quite working to full capabilities
- Options to add per diem or reimbursements for employees
- Improved payroll accuracy by 50%
- Reduced manual data tracking by 100%
- Reduced time expenditures by 50%
- Improved job costing by 10%
We use these features, but they are not specifically needed at this time. But having these options available to us when and if we need them will be beneficial.
We still use Sage, and ExakTime is compatible with it, which is why we went with ExakTime. So technically we use both at this time.
ExakTime is a great pairing with Sage since Sage does not have any applications that let employees clock in and out. So we use ExakTime for that and then transfer the information to Sage for the reporting and issuing of deposits/checks, etc.
