Overall Satisfaction with ExakTime
Our field guys and their supervisors clock in and out of ExakTime. Before we started using ExakTime, we would get general estimates of what each employee worked and usually overpaid because they always seemed to "round up" and there was little accountability. Now we know exactly how long each person worked! We also know whether they were on the job site or slacking off elsewhere by seeing whether they punched in and out of the geofence.

- Would be nice for ExakTime to recognize if the in/out photo captured a face instead of the sky/ceiling to prompt employee to take a valid photo
- Interface with AccountLinx/Quickbooks sometimes varies the precise time from what ExakTime shows. Ex. Employee shows working 4.27 hours in ExakTime, Quickbooks shows 4.26. Usually only off by a hundredth
- Sometimes punches don't sync up. Employee claims they clocked in. I manually enter then it populates later
- Immediately saw a decrease in the amount of hours reported as worked vs what was actually worked. Probably saved us $100,000 in payroll the first year
- We have record of each employee each day rather than what the supervisor may have remembered from the prior week when filling out manual time cards
Geofence has been beneficial to know who was on site. Shift time is helpful for limiting those who tend to clock in early or late to add extra minutes here and there. Photo ID capture helps prevent employees for clocking other workers, but helpful in some cases if the supervisor clocks out all employees.
This is the first product like this that we've used. We've been using ExakTime for several years now, and I can't imagine going back to manual entry! I also wouldn't think there's any comparable product on the market that allows as much customization or would be as user friendly as ExakTime!

3 - In our company, only 3 users use the desktop login on a day-to-day basis to manage or view time: 2 users for payroll purposes and one project manager for job overview and accuracy.
