Overall Satisfaction with ExakTime

When I took over this company 5 years ago they were clocking in on an old punch card machine. This was not an efficient use of time or money for something as simple and important as tracking time worked. Switching to ExakTime has saved me thousands of dollars over the years calculating payroll. I can't put a price on the headache it has saved me!
  • Time Tracking, where and when each employee is clocking in.
  • Ease of use, even the older generation can navigate the website well.
  • I actually don't, I have never had an issue.
  • Payroll Accuracy - Hours used to be manually calculated here. Depending on the person it was almost never accurate resulting in employees being under paid or the company losing money.
  • Time - To calculate 30+ employees hours, including overtime was a nightmare and took an entire day. I now do minor changes day of payroll to fix up things and ask questions and I am no more than 20 minutes. That is a huge time and money saver.
Photo ID and Geo Fencing - Since we work on remote locations its invaluable. An example - an employee tried to clock in an hour away from their site, having breakfast. It didn't work out so well for them, without ExakTime I would have never known.
It's easy for anyone tech savvy. It is kind of impossible to make anything even more user-friendly than it already is. The app itself has zero issues for all my staff. The admin side of things takes a bit more knowing and learning.
I have not tried any other software.

For my industry, ExakTime is incredible. The geo fencing, and clock-in locations and job types works incredibly well. I am likely to recommend because I have and I do recommend it constantly to others in my industry. I would say the only reason more people are not trying is it, is because they are of an older generation and using a virtual program can be daunting.
