Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer
Utilize Exclaimer to standardize signatures across the organization for full-time employees. Allows us to present a unified message and brand, as well as customize signatures for key groups with ease. Removes the necessity to manually create images as signatures for individuals which are not readable by accessible tech. Ensures information in signatures is accurate (i.e. proper job titles), and since tied to AAD properties we are able to 'automate' the assigning and updating of user signatures through our Identity Management process.
- Ability to assign different signatures to different users via AAD group
- Initial setup process
- Ease of configuring signatures
- Ability to deeply customize signatures as limited to what the GUI provides (i.e., cannot modify CSS/HTML)
- Unable to see number of licenses in use / available
- Freed up some staff time, as there was a staff member dedicated to creating custom signatures
- Able to provide standard branding / consistency in signatures to more staff in less time
- Pricey
Benefitted in allowing different departments to show different information based on visibility settings or signature ranking and AAD group assignment. Currently we haven't implemented anything more complex then that.
Through there AAD integration it has made user management and signature assignment a breeze. The security aspect is under the hood, and from what I know present / seamless to the end user.
Only investigated one other solution, which needed to be hosted on-premise and based on demonstration management would be heavy as needed more in-depth technical knowledge.
