Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer

We have implemented Exclaimer Cloud-Signatures for Office 365 to manage email signatures for all mail users of the Office 365 platform. It allows all email messages to have unified branding, layout, contact, and company information. No user action or configuration is needed, as the signatures are applied during transit of the message.

  • The ability to manage email signatures server-side has provided value but is difficult to assign a specific number.
The other platform we considered for this service was CodeTwo Email Signatures. It was fully capable of providing the signature service we needed. Still, our company already had an existing relationship with Exclaimer Cloud-Signatures for Office 365, which made it much more cost-effective. CodeTwo does offer more support time each day, which would be very helpful. Otherwise, the two products are very similar.

Exclaimer Cloud- Signatures for Office 365 is excellent for mid-sized to large businesses that use Office 365 or Gmail for business email. It allows all users to have a unified layout for email signatures. Changes can be made in one place for marketing pushes, rebranding, and renaming. It also utilizes user attributes from Azure AD or the Gmail user account. This means employee transfers, promotions, or other changes are reflected in signatures in real-time.

Exclaimer Support

The support we have received from Exclaimer Cloud-Signatures for Office 365 has been acceptable overall. However, there was an incident where Exclaimer stopped processing mail from Office 365 due to an expiring certificate. I and many others in the industry tried contacting them via any channel but were unable to get it resolved until Exclaimer engineers arrived during regular support hours. This resulted in several hours of downtime for email. This indicates two significant problems. First, there is no one to manage critical outages during off-hours whatsoever. Second, there is insufficient monitoring when it comes to their application. We treat email as a top-tier application due to our industry, and this was a critical outage for our business.
