Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

The use case is basic: Filing expense reports and assigning the expenses to the right business unit or project.

Pros

  • Learnability: Quick intuitive start
  • Usability: the interface allows you to move forward even if you have not fulfilled every step perfectly
  • Feedback: The interface gives useful feedback on what remains undone.
  • Integration: the handshake between desktop and mobile application was quick and easy.

Cons

  • I did notice that I needed to correct one sum that was scanned from a photo taken of a computer screen. Perhaps there is some AI image-recognition work that could be done to overcome that issue.
  • I'm sure this saves our back-office team a great deal of time
I don't give software this rating often - I used to work in the usability assessment industry. It has been well thought out and well tested.
