Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting

We use it to update applicants on the status of, needs of, and changes to, their loan application. They apply online, but if they forget to sign their application, or provide the necessary supporting documents, we text them reminders. We also use texting to support payment services - reminders of upcoming due dates and payment receipts.
  • The ability to upload contacts into groups for targeted messaging.
  • Reporting on campaign metrics, benchmarked against industry averages.
  • Text preview window that allows you to see what a text will look like on a phone, before you send it.
  • EZ Texting has had the lowest cost per acquisition of any of the texting services we use.
  • Not the cheapest, but since it's more effective, it is worth it.
We sent our first text within 30 minutes, but then we did need an hour or two (applied time) to troubleshoot the implementation of unique URLs for recipients. We have the issue with all platforms - it is not a common ask apparently, and we usually have to find a solution specific to the texting platform being used.
When we look at texting and email platforms, they immediately fall into 2 categories - those that I need a programmer to use, and those that don't. The former go to the bottom of my list for when I am desperate, the rest actually get used. EZ Texting is one of the latter.
Because I have rarely needed support (the interface is that straight-forward), and when I did, I got solutions within hours.
Constant Contact - Too rigid, interface is not very intuitive.
Expert Texting - Very flexible, accommodating, inexpensive. The deliverability is not always good.
Simple Texting - High minimum monthly charge.
Text magic - Very difficult/awkward to send more than 500 texts at a time. Expensive.
I think it is great for reminders and transaction confirmation, less so for pure marketing.
