Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting
We use it to mass text a set of anywhere from 100-500 filed employees at a time. We send job offers through EZ Texting as well as any important information or company updates. We have created separate contact lists to target specific employment departments when sending a message. We have used both SMS and MMS.
- Allows you to create separate contact lists to reach specific populations or subsets.
- Provides a bounce back report on numbers that do not work.
- Has excellent customer service.
- There are too many steps one has to go through in order to see what message a person has replied to.
- Customer service should be better able to assist with choosing a plan.
- Tracking the amount of messages over time should be in a more user-friendly location and format.
- Easier to staff cases.
- Easier to offer trainings.
- Easier to reach people quickly when needed and get compliance issues resolved.
We noticed immediately as it is pretty easy to use. We sent out a mass text for staffing a case and received responses from employees instantly. We have had employee surveys that have complimented our implementation of the program. They seem to really like the messages and find them not overwhelming.
It is simple to type a message and see what the message is going to look like when received on an actual mobile phone. This helps to know how long or short the message will be. I have been able to train people on using it fairly quickly because of this.
We have only used picture messages when our SMS messages have been too long and it automatically converted it. We have yet to send an actual picture. My worry is that not everyone will receive it as some mobile carriers charge for MMS but maybe this really isn't a problem. We just have to try and see.
We have not tried any other program, but from our research into other programs this was the most cost effective and user-friendly one.
