Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting

EZ Texting is being used as our Emergency Text Alert system for all employees. It is being used across the entire Pittsburgh organization which his comprised of 3 separate buildings and 3 separate divisions. It addresses the problem of employees not knowing if there would be an on-site situation that would prevent them from coming to work (power outage, water disruption, etc.) or a potential emergency situation with specific instructions. We've also used is as company-wide reminders and safety alerts.
  • EZ Texting is easy for the end-user to register.
  • Visually appealing texts to recipients.
  • The inability for end-user to remove themself from specific lists, must be done manually by an administrator.
  • Difficulty in creating forms: not very user-friendly.
  • Employees feel safer knowing they can get alerts now on their mobile devices rather than only on the computer via email.
  • Covers both white collar and blue collar people who are not at a computer all day.
I was up and running in one day! As soon as I sent an email blast to employees with instructions, the registration confirmations flowed in feverishly. I provided employees both the register by phone option, and for those a bit less phone savvy, they could just click on the email link and it took them to the online form to register.
It is visually friendly, however, it still needs some work to navigate the forms process.
One of the best customer support companies I have dealt with. Offering both online chat boxes, phone support, and when initially set up, had a dedicated rep to walk me through my complex setup.
Have not used this feature yet.
We use it for employees to register for the Emergency Text Alerts. Once they type in our keyword, it then sends them a confirmation text and immediately another text taking them to a well-formatted page to select the division or building for text alerts they want to receive. Eliminates non-applicable texts for end-user.
When initially researching companies, EZ Texting caught my eye for 2 reasons. Believe it or not, the name of the company (was exactly what I was looking for: something EASY), and the low cost of the service. It was actually the customer service when I called that sealed the deal—excellent, thorough, knowledgeable and polite. You were able to tell they were passionate about their product and they actually used or had a hand in designing.
Does the job. I like the ability to use the mobile app in a quick emergency situation. I love the template function as it makes it quick and easy to create a rush alert.
