Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting
We use it for emergency weather alerting that is affecting staff offices, essentially snow delays or closures. Many of our staff commute long distances and EZTexting allows us to notify our employees before they start their morning drive time. Some of our staff have to come in, especially those in the public safety arena, but the notification process has been so well received, even though we make it voluntary, we have a 70%+ inclusion rate and if exclude our public safety staff our inclusion rate jumps to 97%.
- Easy to access anywhere you have an internet connection.
- Simple to add and delete contacts.
- Easy to create campaign templates.
- Relatively inexpensive.
- Time to make contact is quick. For us, about 15 seconds.
- Additional flexibility in exporting data would be nice.
- A few more available characters for a template.
- Although the pricing structure changed and we use it maybe once or twice a year, it is still a good value.
- The rate for us are perfect.
The onboarding was straightforward; I could use it within 10 minutes and be comfortable enough to teach my emergency backup staff how to use it quickly. I especially liked that we could perform our initial onboarding of contacts as a group through the CSV import capabilities.
We used to use this product years ago. It was challenging to use; it required us to maintain a separate spreadsheet list of contacts that we had to import every time there was a change. And when a text message was sent, the failure rate was about 8-10%, and the process could take up to 20 minutes to complete. Data retrieval, although possible, was time-consuming.
