Overall Satisfaction with Fin by Intercom

We are operating a small IT business, and intercom helps us with handling chats and with managing customers who contact us after and before closing/opening.

The AI features are helpful in checking the scope of the queries that are left by customers, and we can gather this information to properly identify key points that are in need of improving!

Pros

  • Handling chats, including more complicated ones
  • Using proper wording and staying on topic
  • Assessing problems quickly and adapting in line with our knowledge base

Cons

  • There should be a built in translator function for it (that has no extra cost)
  • Sometimes Fin by Intercom can get lost in the conversation, particularly in foreign context
  • Limits and conversion markers have a little bit of room for improvement
  • Reduced resolution times
  • Less stress on live agents
  • More cost effective
Fin by Intercom is always being updated and users are most of the time satisfied with AI responses, as long as it's in the best knowledge of Fin by Intercom.

Multiple chats can be handled with high precision, helping us cover the after hours coverage.

Most of the time Fin by Intercom can also process more complex chats.
We are strictly only using Fin by Intercom for Customer Services enquiries, however with thime we could look into the tech stack opportunities, as we are already using a few AI programming languages.

We expect to slowly increase the handled chats by Fin by Intercom and check if it adapts properly to more and more complex queries.

Secondly, Fin by Intercom's ability to assess customer requests properly and sometimes do more nuanced tasks is a very big plus.
