Gong allows us to learn from each other, provide coaching and document calls for customers in a really simple way. We use it to share product insights with the team, to review before following up by email to ensure we can be hyper-personalised in our responses and to document best practice for new joiners.
- Deal overview - see all deal comms in one place (recordings and emails).
- Coaching - Automated coaching provides great insight, and personal coaching allows colleagues to feed back on and learn from each call.
- Sharing snippets - Share the call with customers for them to distribute internally to those who couldn't make it.
- Audio transcription - this is great in theory but some of the transcripts are way off, sometimes to comedic effect.
- Ease of finding calls of colleagues who are not the core sales rep (e.g. Sales Engineering).
- Made the sales and sales engineering teams much better and providing feedback to each other. We have been able to suggest next steps to each other that help us build business cases and close more deals.
- Reducing repetitive demos when not all stakeholders can attend by sharing the demo recording with the customer.
