Overall Satisfaction with Google Drive

It was being used to manage schedules and make group changes and updates.

Pros

  • Excellent amount of storage and easy accessibility.
  • Creating shareable links for Documents streamlined communication.
  • Could find all documents, PowerPoints and pictures all under one Drive.

Cons

  • When downloading files off of google drive to the computer the formatting of the document is altered.
  • Pictures in my PowerPoint as well as formatting of a case study was completely different when downloaded/converted to a MS Word or MS PowerPoint. This posed a huge problem when giving a presentation post download.
  • It has had a positive impact to projects and tasks. And has help streamline communication.
DropBox we have used for file sharing. Dropbox at my current company we ran out of storage fairly quickly.
Group projects are great for adding people to view and alter and edit the document.
