Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Forms is included with our Google Workspace plan and is available to anyone in the organization. Different departments use it for various surveys. My department in particular uses it for user research, recruiting, and internal questionnaires. It helps get data and results quickly when we have a target group of participants.

Google Forms is extremely easy and simple to use.
Google Forms integrates directly with Google Sheets and other Google services.
It's very easy to manage access and sharing settings.

Google Forms definitely isn't as robust as some of the more professional tools out there. However, in my experience, I usually don't need a robust survey tool. I just need to quickly set up a survey or screener. In addition, I love how simple it is to add collaborators to Google Forms. My co-workers don't have to create a new account or sign up for anything.

Usability

Google Forms is very easy to use. It essentially has a "what you see is what you get" interface, which makes it very easy to customize and build the form. It also has a convenient drag-and-drop functionality, and it's very simple in the feature set. It definitely doesn't take much work to get a survey set up.

Support Rating

I've never reached out to support when using Google Forms. However, I have reached out to Google in the past for support on other Google Workspace products, and they are super friendly and helpful. In addition, they are super fast at responding. You don't have to sit on a phone or anything, they will simply reach out to you when it is your turn.

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Forms is great when you need to set up a quick survey. It's very fast and easy to use, and most people are familiar with it. However, it's probably not as appropriate for massive sample sizes or statistical research. It also doesn't always appear very professional in the business world compared to more robust solutions like Qualtrics.
