Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Surveys has several different features that help me gather information. In part, we are able to use the information for calendars and scheduling. In that way, it is similar to features found on other calendar apps. However, you can also use the service to get information from the public on an anonymous or non-anonymous level. Overall, helpful.

Cons

Nothing wrong with the survey feature, but often only average in its functions compared to competitors.

Able to organize and summarize various data points.
Useful for scheduling.

Alternatives Considered

Doodle and Calendly

Honestly, in terms of scheduling, Google is about average. Obviously, this is not Google Survey's only purpose, but the poll functions are only similar to those used on websites. Some of the features are nearly identical and free (and some don't even require an account). As a result, Google Surveys may be most useful in a specialized or Google-centric model.

Usability

Relatively simple so that those who are less than familiar with computers can figure it out. User friendly and already embedded with other Google products. Receives an 8 because many features available with Google Surveys are also available with similar, free products on the internet today. Good, but not stellar.

Support Rating

Never needed proper support for using Google surveys. As a result, my rating is based on the actual user experience and the feeling of whether or not the product would require support. Its features are well placed and work fairly well for what it is supposed to do, overall.

Likelihood to Recommend

Easy to use for various functions, including tracking down people out of the office or using data from the general public. You may find it useful on a website or as a poll for a smaller (local) or larger project. Considering its cost and relative use, it is good for general purposes.
