Overall Satisfaction with Google Tasks

Google Tasks is great for simple tasks that I want to integrate with my Android phone and my Google account. It's a simple interface that doesn't get too complicated, and is a great place for me to write down what I need to get done and easily check them off without worrying about complex features.

Pros

  • Easy to add tasks.
  • Syncs with my android phone.
  • Desktop version.

Cons

  • Not a lot of complex features.
  • Not as visually appealing as some other apps.
  • Easy to add stuff (and thus not forget stuff).
  • Seamless android and desktop integration.
The platform is easy to use and very easy to pick up. My only hesitation is that there are other, more fully featured task managers out there, such as those with more automations or integrations. If that's what you are looking for, this may not be the tool for you.
Google Tasks is simple and free, as long as you have a Google account. But it is very barebones too, and works best if you are looking for something simple on your phone with a desktop component.

Google Tasks is a great option if you're looking for a simple task manager that integrates with a tile on your Android Phone and offers a desktop web version. You do need a Google account to make it work, which may turn some folks off. Also, not sure if it integrates as well on iPhones.
