Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
We use it for teleconferencing sometimes, but not anywhere near as often as other platforms now. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and even FaceTime are replacing it for most of our users. Some of our more... (Dare I say Luddite) resistant to change folks like it, and at this point, the cost isn’t a factor, so we keep it for them.
- Webinars for larger groups.
- Simply easier to use Zoom for what we need. Fewer downloads to make it work.
- None at the present time. It’s another tool in the box, kept mostly for older users who say that like they say “BandAid” or “Xerox”.
- Zoom and Microsoft Teams
We use all three, depending on the users involved and their personal preferences. Most of our external meetings are now done on Zoom, and most of our internal ones are done using Microsoft Teams. For basic talking, they’re all pretty much the same; it’s just personal preference and what the users have installed already.
