Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Resolve

We use GoTo Resolve for supporting our clients remotely through support sessions. We also for device management where we need a static connection.

Pros

  • Remote support sessions.
  • End user friendly.
  • Remote install for managed devices seamless.

Cons

  • Need to allow Groups setup.
  • More reporting options (copy of chat messages, time connected, etc.).
  • Better layout for managed devices.
  • ROI through travel expenses. Doesn't require to travel onsite unless necessary.
  • Improved employee productivity. Able to support from home if needed.
  • Improved end user satisfaction as allows to work after hours if needed.
Relatively easy to use. Once get used to menu items, will be able to do any task needed i.e. manage multiple screens, reboot, send combination keys, etc. Window for managing end users is clean and efficient. Good response between host and session and not laggy.
Looking to use for all-in-one system especially for ticketing. Currently use for remote access and device management which has been efficient so far. Remote access is the best feature as it offers many options from technician side and easy/seamless for end user to connect.
GoTo Resolve stacks up pretty good on remote access and device management. Prefer the remote access through GoTo Resolve as it seems to be more end user friendly and seamless for connecting. From device management side and ticketing, is lacking compared to ConnectWise as there aren't that many options/features as there is in ConnectWise.

For remote support of clients, one of the top software for connecting. Can do almost any task needed from the support side on end user machines.
Lacking in device management currently. Cannot setup groups and can't limit who has access to which device.
