Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Webinar
We are a professional trade association, and we produce and deliver a number of webinars throughout the year to our members as continuing education programs for their professional requirements. We have been using GoTo Webinar for about 10 years to deliver these online webinars to our members. We deliver the live version of these webinars directly on the GoTo Webinar platform, and then we use their recording and editing tools to create an on-demand version of each webinar to make available to our members after the live event is held.
- Unlimited number of webinars per month with no time limits
- Clear, user-friendly interface that allows our members to join our live webinars with very little technical assistance required
- Nice built-in tools for recording and editing video content
- Quick and responsive customer support by phone
- Adding speakers/panelists - it would be better if you could store a bank of past speakers to quickly add them to new webinars being created
- Making the web version of the software equal in functionality to the desktop version so that users would not have to download and install the software in order to join in a webinar
- If the handouts posted to a webinar could be made available for download in advance of a webinar, it would allow the participants to have these in hand before the webinar begins instead of having to download these after the webinar is opened. Or make them available to the participants while in the waiting room prior to the start of the broadcast
- Their 'all-you-can-eat' plan is much better than other vendors that charge by the event or the length of an event. We can have as many webinars as we want each month for the same fee per month.
- The ability to record and edit the webinars makes it easy for us to record all of our 'live' webinars and then make these available for months afterward as an on-demand event which generates much more revenue than just the live webinar alone.
- The clean design of their webinar software makes it easy for our members to join in each webinar and get out when finished. So there is not a lot of 'hand holding' required on our part, which thereby reduces staff time that we have to devote to supporting our webinar events.
We have been with GoTo Webinar for over 10 years now, so we have not seriously considered other options over that time period. Although we did use the webinar version of Zoom some during the pandemic, it is clearly not as well designed and functioning as GoTo Webinar.
