Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
Our firm started using GoTo Meeting initially as a result of the fact that we were already using their parent company LogMeIn for remote access. The platform solved the challenge of people working remotely both on projects nationally and also due to COVID locally to still connect with each other in live meetings.
Pros
- Easy integration into Outlook.
- Allows for remote collaboration.
- Very user friendly.
Cons
- GoTo Room device sometimes does not allow you to invite while in the meeting.
- GoTo Room device does not allow for the use of other platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
- Keeps our remote teams "together" at all times.
- Reduced missing meetings.
- Adds a level of sophistication our clients look for.
- Zoom and Microsoft Teams
We were not comfortable with the security levels and reputation of Zoom and while we use Microsoft Teams internally not all of our clients do. No one needs to be a subscriber of GoTo Meeting for us to invite them.
