Overall Satisfaction with GoToMyPC

I access my office remotely on a regular basis. The system is quick and responsive. It does not log me out after just a few minutes of inactivity. I can do everything out of the office as if I am in front of my computer.
  • The system is as fast as if I was in front of my work computer
  • The appearance looks just like my computer at work.
  • The system allows me to print remotely without issue.
  • The system logs me out after 5-10 minutes of inactivity. Maybe there is, or could be a setting to allow longer inactivity before log out.
  • In order to have speed, I pull the graphics down to minimum. If I need to view anything other than print, it is not very clear.
  • I believe that I am unable to set the system to allow me to dictate into my office system from a remote location. That ability would be helpful.
  • Allows me to work remotely when I travel.
  • Allows other employees or consultants to work from other areas.
  • Increases availability for myself and staff to clients
GoToMyPCC is faster, cleaner and does not log out in a short time of inactivity. The log in protocol is easier as well.

I set the system for maximum speed and minimum graphics. If the requirements of the job included graphics, the system would work significantly slower. I can't compare, since I have not tried any of those applications on this or any other system. The price is also much higher than the competition, but it is worth it for what I need to accomplish. The system is as quick as the computer systems that you are using. When I work remotely, it feels and acts like I am at my computer at work. I also appreciate printing from my remote location as some systems don't allow for it or the system doesn't work well. The sizing and appearance of all the applications look and work well remotely as well. The system is also very easy to access and implement so I have no hesitation in utilizing it on a daily basis.
