Overall Satisfaction with GoToMyPC

We have been using GoToMyPC for several years. We have several offices, and do some travel. We use GoToMyPC to operate as if we were in the main office all the time. We use GoToMyPC successfully despite the quality (or lack of) in the remote computer. We have had very little difficulty and our work has not been disrupted by any major changes to the interface, unlike other platforms.

Pros

Cons

  • Although remote printing is easy and seamless, it is not obvious how to print back on the host computer.
  • It is a standard tool for us. IT is integral to our routine functionality
We use it routinely.
TeamViewer is much more useful for transferring files, but its changing interfaces and neeedless complexity make it less than ideal for our routine use
