Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar

It's a fairly intuitive software. Uploading documents and creating attendee polls can be somewhat tedious.
Everyone on our team was able to successfully navigate this tool, and we have had no complaints from our presentation attendees with the software.
My organization used GoToWebinar as a tool to educate our users, as well as members of our partner organizations/associations, on the intricacies of our proprietary platform, as well as on the legal environment revolving around our industry. GoToWebinar allowed us to present important information with a large audience in a visual, interactive way that could be recorded and shared in the future. GoToWebinar also gave us the ability to share important documentation with attendees during presentations, which made education extremely easy.

Pros

  • Can serve a sassive number of potential attendees.
  • Gives the ability to share documentation with webinar guests.
  • Provides for multiple event organizers and presenters, making collaborative presentations very simple.
  • The intuitive interface allows for easily set up presentations.
  • Useful internal polling/chat features for engaging live with webinar attendees.

Cons

  • From the attendee perspective, engaging with a GoToWebinar presentation could have been easier. Joining presentations on other platforms such as Zoom appears to be somewhat more simple.
An example of a situation in which GoToWebinar software is well-suited would be an educational presentation in which you expect a medium or large number of attendees (between 10 and 100). GoToWebinar allows you to share a screen with attendees, answer questions in order, chat, distribute polls and documents, and much more.
A scenario in which GoToWebinar is not as well-suited would be a meeting with less than 10 people. With fewer users, it makes more sense to use a product such as GoToMeeting, which is designed for smaller presentation attendance.
