Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar
I've used GoToWebinar for multiple meetings, both in my position as Executive Director for a youth-focused non-profit and in my off-hours life as someone who is involved with many large groups that meet digitally. GoToWebinar addresses the business problem of needing to link lots of folks to disseminate information clearly and easily in a presentation format.
- I was impressed with GoToWebinar's capability to clearly connect large groups to an existing presentation, without interruption.
- The way that GoToWebinar looks is sleek and intuitive.
- GoToWebinar's invite capabilities work well every time I have engaged with them.
- GoToWebinar could potentially improve the streaming, but the software has far fewer glitches than its competitors in my experience.
- I've honestly been really impressed with this software and couldn't suggest any other improvements!
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
I think Skype for Business is also a great option for connecting large numbers of people virtually, as it serves groups of over 25 (the free version stops at 25 attendees), but GoToWebinar is much better for presentations as it has better functionality for multiple video windows and the chat portion on the side tab is well-designed.
