Overall Satisfaction with Gusto
We are an HR company that uses Gusto ourselves and recommends it to small businesses. We utilize Gusto for Payroll, onboarding, benefits, and more.
Pros
- Payroll- so streamlined
- User-friendly, Penny the Pig is adorable
- Onboarding
- There's multiple ways to get to something
Cons
- Time keeping is a little rough- you don't see the total hours for the day when you go into the details of the week plus there's not an option to have the week reflect our work week (Sun-Sat)
- Implementation of benefits- needs more communication if something is out of the ordinary. We implemented benefits a little late and didn't realize it wouldn't automatically come out of Payroll. We caught it, but it would have been great to have Gusto's help with that.
- Saves time- less confusion means less running around trying to find answers
- Great customer service
- Easy to disseminate documents
For timekeeping, Gusto doesn't have a good option for overnight shifts (it automatically stops at midnight).
