Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I Use Gusto to clock in and clock out from work. Our company utilize Gusto for time management, pay, benefits, etc. I enjoy how easy it is to use Gusto, to contact a representative if there are any issues, to take surveys, to view any work performance reviews, to view any your medical / dental benefits, view time off requests and many more. I opened 2 bank accounts with Gusto, that allows me to direct deposit my whole paycheck or portions of it. I opened a checking account and a savings account and I transfer money from the savings when I need it. I enjoy Gusto and all the services they provided so far. I once had an issue and thought that I had medical insurance for my family. I emailed the service department and they responded to the email in a very timely manner and the issue was resolved and I was very satisfied. I appreciate having Gusto from my employer

Pros

  • Time managing
  • Gusto Bank accounts
  • Benefits management
  • Ease of time off requests

Cons

  • I wish that I would be able to see my paystub before the pay date so I can coordinate my bills to pay
  • A positive impact Gusto has had on the overall business objective is allowing employer and employees to worry about patient care, not to worry about Payroll or benefits
Gusto is very simple to use. The setup options are easy, the it is very user friendly and has option that are simplified, easy to understand and if there is a problem, the staff will likely be able to navigate thru the site themselves and possibly solve the issue by ones self.

Yes

Did Gusto live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Gusto go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Gusto again?

Yes

Gusto wallet is really great because it allows me to track where and how my money is being spent. I was hesitant to use the Gusto wallet option and open a spending account and the rainy day/ savings account because the bank affiliated is not a local (Hawaii) bank. Another coworker opened her account and used her debit card to make purchases. I then opened my own spending account and it works out well for me. So well that I opened myself a rainy day or savings account.

Using Gusto

45 - The business functions that the company I work for represent a medical facility, a Nephrology clinic. The staff uses Gusto for time management/ clocking in and out from work, to sign up for medical/ health benefits, signing company documents such as HIPAA compliance, requesting to take time off from work performance reviews, etc.
3 - There are 3 people in total that have the skills to assist Gusto with any in house issues. One of the main staff members is the Executive Officer. We used a different product before, then we merged with a company in the Continental US and we introduced to Gusto. The EO taught the employees the basic uses for Gusto and to go thru it and familiarize ourselves with the product. We also have a Clinic Manager and an Office Manager. The clinic manager usually assists the staff with the time management issues such as clocking in and out, if we need to add a shift or remove it and approve time off. The office manager assists with the time management issues, the health benefits, approves time off requests and approves the Payroll from the hours we worked, and much more.
  • Time management
  • Health benefits
  • Time off requests
  • Time off request options allow the time off request to go to the manager for timely response
  • For health benefits, Gusto has health management app separate from Gusto that allows us to view coverage alternate way
  • My opinion, they may be able to use Gusto to prescreen possible applicants for employment.
  • Maybe have discounts for club membership like Costco or Sam's Club, even for vehicle and home insurance companies like Allstate, Statefarm, or even GEICO
So far, the services provided and given to myself and other staff members have been excellent. If I ever have an issue and I need assistance, there are options available such as email and text. I enjoy using Gusto to request time off when I have something important such as an appointment, a court hearing date, am sick and unable to go in for work, etc

Evaluating Gusto and Competitors

Yes - Gusto replaced ADP. The staff really enjoyed ADP and its ease of function and use. ADP did have a mobile app that allows you to do same functions as Gusto. You were able to view the pay stub. There was an option to clock in thru the mobile app, but a lot of staff members were clocking in without being near the office. With Gusto, if you try to sign in from the mobile app, the app looks at the location, and if it is not at a work location, it will not allow you to clock in.

Yes - Mobile interface works very well> I am able to sign in when I want to review my previous time sheets, when I need to review my benefits, when I need to request for paid time off. I can update my own profile information when there are changes. I am also able to clock in if I am working at another location and the computer system in not functioning properly, with the supervisors approval.
