Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I use Gusto to receive and view my bi-monthly paycheck stubs. Not only do I use it for that, but I use Gusto to keep track of my off days, and can request needed time off for vacation, and sick days all in one place. The only issue that I have noticed was viewing my employment letter and the most recent amount that I've earned since starting my job. It appears to be not up-to-date. But other than that, I found Gusto to me easy to use, and I also like the app as well.

Pros

  • Fast communication
  • Easily Navigation on the website
  • Great app that mirrors the access on the website

Cons

  • Delay in communication of paycheck received. I usually receive it a day or two days after I've been paid.
  • Would like all features to be within Gusto and not Third-party sites
  • Sometimes when trying to download my paycheck pdf, there is a black screen, and I have to reload the page to fully load.
  • One thing I can think of, I would like staff to be able to see how much they will be paid in advance. It makes it difficult to plan on paying bills especially if the paycheck is lower than expected.
  • It would be helpful to breakdown how much staff are being paid per hour.
  • An email to let staff know how much they will be paid and what date with further assist staff in being informed of when they will receive their income pay.
Gusto is extremely easy to use. Everything is all in one place and it makes finding features or completing tasks very simple to do, and they can be completed within 2 minutes or less. It saves time, and you can spend more time working or doing other much needed errands.
I've used Truework to generate my information regarding my employment letter. This helped me with applying for state programs that required to know about my work history and income. In previous jobs, I've used Workday, and it was a useful site, but a bit more complex than using Gusto. But I liked that Workday allowed me to see how much I would get paid at any time.

Overall, I would highly recommend Gusto. It is very easy to use. Everything you need to do is all in one place. I love the app, and it doesn't require that I need to be signed onto my desktop to use certain features like other websites. I like the versatility of the site, and how you can take care of multiple tasks in one place.
