Overall Satisfaction with Gusto
We use it through a 3rd party accounting firm (part of our parent company) for payroll, time reporting, benefits, policy documents, etc.
Pros
- Paycheck and time card reporting
- Providing benefits information
- Updating and accurate org chart
- Communicating with employees.
Cons
- Some employees were not clear about what benefits were confirmed during open enrollment. Clarify and confirm who is enrolled and who isn’t
- Trying to change profile info (such as contact info)
- Let the pig take a break! :)
- The app, particularly on android phones, can be harder to use and doesn’t allow for some actions (I.e., uploading employee docs such as I-9) is hit or miss. And usually
- Miss.
- I’m not at the level to reply with facts. But as someone in the middle and who onboards our new employees, Gusto is great. We used ADP before, which is good. But Gusto is so much better.
We used ADP previously. But I don’t know the specific platform. We left when we were acquired.
