Overall Satisfaction with Harvest
Harvest is used by everyone at our agency. We use it to track our time and productivity as well as managing scopes of projects to monitor profitability. Harvest allows us to get a better understanding of the time restraints and requirements associated with each type of campaign or project our agency takes on.
- Integrates with other project management apps (i.e Asana)
- Allows us to allocate specific amounts of time to various tasks
- Gives the managers a better sense of what part of our process is most time consuming
- The mobile app lacks a lot of the functionality that the website offers, if I were to change anything, I'd definitely update the mobile app
- A few years back, we used Harvest to better inform our budget creation. We analyzed the time spent on similar projects and were able to create thresholds and minimums.
Like Asana, Harvest is great for project management, though it definitely skews more toward the time tracking rather than the step by step process. Some of our team members write out their to-do list as project tasks in Havest and start the tracker when they're ready to get to work - that way, they mark off a task while accounting for their time.
