Overall Satisfaction with HelloSign

I use HelloSign in my solo-preneur business. I use it to easily, efficiently, and safely have on-boarding contracts signed by my clients.
  • Makes editing and sending contracts very simple.
  • Allows my clients to securely and easily sign the contract needed to work with me.
  • Makes signing up to work with me hassle free- which means more sales :)
  • HelloSign could use some more formatting or design features that the user can control to make his or her document a little prettier.
  • It could be slightly more user-friendly, as sometimes the boxes are hard to move around.
  • I would like to see a few more options for editing the contract right in HelloSign.
  • Has helped me secure more clients by creating an easier onboarding process.
  • Has saved my butt legally by allowing my clients to sign the contract in a legally binding way.
  • Saves time (which is money!) with the contract process.
Before I was using HelloSign I was doing a very tedious process of sending a contract in PDF form, having my clients print it, sign it, scan it, and send it back. So no other software to recommend, but I will say that if you're doing it the old-school way.... get to HelloSign immediately!
I would say that HelloSign is perfect for someone who is in any position where a legally binding contract is needed to be signed by both parties before work can begin. I would recommend it for smaller businesses- I do think that if you have a very large business, there would be better options that are more entwined with other software and systems instead of being such a standalone product.

Using HelloSign

1 - The functions of the people in this business who use Hellosign on a regular basis are in the sales and legal areas of my business. The sales team uses them for signing on clients (client contracts) and the legal team also utilizes Hellosign for this same reason, along with other contracts as needed.
1 - Hellosign is really easy to use but the people who use it on a regular basis just need to have basic computer skills. You upload your contract, fill in the spots that need to be filled out by both parties, and send it to the client or contractor. It's all very automated and simple.

It's a great software and we will continue to use it. It's a great time and money saver when it comes to legal contracts and makes the process easy for both sides who need to sign or add information to a document or contract. We definitely need our contracts to be legally binding and HelloSign provides this for us.
