Overall Satisfaction with HipChat
HipChat was being used only in our department and not the whole organization. HipChat is used to keep the whole department's communication together, for the purpose of calling meetings or querying about the work task. Managing issues from JIRA and keeping track of when commits have happened in Bitbucket was easier with HipChat.

HipChat stacks up against its competitors as it supports great integration with services like JIRA and BitBucket. But apart from this one feature, it lacks in several others such as speed, file sharing size limit, screen sharing and voice or video calls.
HipChat can probably reach to a higher number of people if it gave similar features which others provide as well for free and just charged for Integration services and special features which only HipChat provides.
