Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

I have only used HubSpot since early March 2023. I used to work at a larger organisation who used Salesforce, in two short months I can identify how HubSpot simplifies the tasks and makes managing the data and actions required as a sales organisation easier.

Including the Sequences within the CRM, rather than an additional tool we have to procure from a third party allows us to have more granular control of campaign success of what does and doesn't work.

I am reviewing and adapting the Sales Operational components to allow us to better forecast and predict our business as we seek for answers from multiple sources of data, HubSpot will allow me to collate this into one platform.

Pros

  • If a member of the sale team is trying to add a contact to a sequence, it has the ability to advise (through other HubSpot customers) if the same email address has bounced elsewhere

Cons

  • Workflows and considerations aren't always logical. There needs to be better guides and focus on the how to action rather than assuming everyone is an expert in workflows. Even the Kyle Jepson videos make this assumption.
  • Operations and pulling data together from Pipeline against forecast isn't great and needs to be simplified with more fields - including adding line items and margins! Such a basic and necessary field to include but is missing
  • We have not calculated this as yet as priorities have focussed on improving the value of the data and asset
It provides less fields, and therefore screen real-estate noise, than Salesforce
We do not have a dedicated Marketing person as yet, as such we have not invested in the other modules

I can quickly find information and enforce the use of HubSpot as the only repository for the information. e.g. You're talking about a deal that's not in HubSpot. Put it in HubSpot with updated details, sales stage, $ amount, timing, product line item, profitability etc. and then we can talk about it. Our single source of truth has to be our CRM.
