Overall Satisfaction with IBM Maximo Application Suite

I work for an IBM Business Partner supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite's MREF (Tririga) for numerous customers. Currently have completed application upgrades to latest version and supporting new usages of Capital Projects out of the box.

Pros

  • Facilities Management - Operations and Maintenance - Work Orders
  • Includes business development tools to configure the application

Cons

  • Application upgrades could use additional tools to support
  • Reporting configuration requires specific and not easy training to manage and create reports
  • Accurate KPIs supporting a variety of metrics related to asset / inventory usage and work start to completion times
  • Schedule and Budget tracking for large capital projects that can include extensive WBS line items for managing initial budget, contract management and invoicing, as well as full schedule capability with ability to import / export with other applications
The depth of modules and functionality to handle most facilities and real estate business needs. In addition, he deep toolset for configuration and integrations with other system allows organizations to manage and report across platforms with relative ease once setup. Finally, the growth of features and fixes from IBM helps keep the applications relevant now and into the future.
Provides much better reporting, which replaces numerous old bespoke systems and spreadsheets, allows for users from Exec to end users ability to use system for specific needs with simplified home pages and navigation.
Less complicated, more features, less expensive, easier to manage and configure.

Asset management, facilities management, work request and work order end to end life cycle. Implementing these core modules / components of IBM Maximo Application Suite's MREF allows organizations proper tracking of physical assets and inventory, as well s how they're used to support end user request for service and supervisors / technicians picking up those requests and assigning he work to be completed. This can include customer surveys to receive feedback as well.
