Overall Satisfaction with IBM Planning Analytics
IBM Planning Analytics allows us to integrate data from our ERP and other sources. (any sources for that matter). We are able to have Sales Dashboards so we can measure sales performance. Also Customer P&Ls by Region by Sales Rep.
Pros
- It allows us to group products, customers & Sales Regions any way we want
- It can spread data in any direction.
- Active Live Sales Dashboards
- Link to ERP and other outside sources
Cons
- Allow Live reports to be sent to anyone without a license.
- SO much time saved consolidating all of our Sales data and being able to report it out to many different areas with click of a few buttons
- Spreading data for our Budgets & Forecast & long range forecast saves hours of work.
- Once something is setup in Planning Analytics it becomes a simple task to do anything. Before PA we spent hours gathering and reporting data.
Does this great. I don't know how you can do without this tool. Makes our future sales planning simple. We set up different scenarios and compare them.
IBM PA is like having pivot tables on steroids. Possibilities are endless.
