Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
Insightly is used by our sales team and our customer success team. The sales team uses Insightly to track opportunities in the pipeline and inform the CEO of deals that are close to closing. It also helps us monitor personal performance. Our customer success team has used Insightly to track existing clients and uses the project management tool to track onboarding procedures.
- CRM + Project Management. Insightly combines these two things well.
- Improvements. As a smaller company, they are adding improvements consistently.
- Support. Their support is inadequate. When we first started using Insightly, we were able to get in touch via email or chat. Now, you basically can't contact support at all, which is frustrating.
- Synced activities/notes. Records (orgs, people, opportunities) exist in a silo in Insightly. When you add a note to a person, it does not automatically roll up to the company level.
No. It hasn't been a single solution for our sales and client success team because of its inability to track interactions and relationships with multiple stakeholders at a particular company. It also doesn't automate as well as some other CRM platforms do in terms of logging emails automatically / offering click to call functionality.
We're in the process of moving from Insightly to a different CRM. We looked at Hubspot, Salesforce, Basecamp, Nutshell - and settled on Nutshell. The biggest thing that Nutshell has that none of the others does is the ability to wrap conversations with individuals up to a larger organization or opportunity. Instead of tracking things in different places, we're able to keep everything together.
