Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
It is our primary CRM. The sales team utilizes Insightly to track and follow up with various leads and opportunities. Our web store has a very sub-par CRM built into it so it acts as a nice buffer between what we have and what our needs are. It is only used by our sales team.
- Tracking and creating leads
- Organizing Daily Tasks
- Efficiently manages future opportunities
- Creates color coded tasks for quick reference
- Integration with other platforms
- A lack of being able to import Excel or other datasheets
- Limitation of records able to be stored is undesirable. Seems like there are more programs than necessary with limited feature benefits in between.
My guess would be yes. Insightly does fine. It works well enough for our needs. I think the real place Insightly lacks is the integration with other programs. Even if we could get it to tie in with our Volusion, we immediately run out of contact storage and have to pay to upgrade our plan anyway. Also creating duplicate contacts would be a difficult thing to monitor.
I did not have a choice. It was appointed to us by the director of e-commerce and sales. That being said it's a perfectly capable program but I don't foresee it having long-term value against a system like Native or Profit-21. Having fewer programs that offer more features in a simple easy to use format is always going to be the most desirable.
Instightly is really good as an augmentative program. With most ERPs having built in CRMs it is probably best suited for either small companies or those without a large scale need for a CRM. I don't feel that its strongest suit is for large scale customers or those that already have a well-integrated system. Having something that ties into a current system a little better would be beneficial.
