Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We use it mainly as a CRM for our content creators. We also use some of the project management features. It's used by one department currently - that could change as its use increases. The main problem it solves is the problem of fragmented information about our content creators. Insightly allows us to centralize communications so that all members of our department can be up to date.
  • Insightly makes it easy to update recent conversations with our content creators.
  • The ability to send email directly to Insightly where it is automatically organized into Contacts and Projects is very powerful.
  • Insightly allows access from any device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.)
  • The number one thing that is missing is the ability to reorder tasks. When looking at a task list, it is very intuitive to move things around based on their importance. Not being able to do this makes the task function very clunky feeling.

Yes, Insightly has helped to achieve these outcomes and there is still work to be done. The main stumbling block is making sure everyone is well-trained and that has been difficult at our company due to conflicting time priorities.
The main thing we liked about Insightly is its ability to act as a CRM, AND as a project management tool. We are still getting the project management part up and running, but it holds great promise.
Insightly works so well for companies that want a CRM and Project Management solution that works out of the box, at a reasonable price. It might work less well for extremely large companies or companies with specific, unique needs.
