Insightly has great potential!
Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
So, in the entertainment field, we are always looking for leads. We are a quarterly magazine and really need a way to follow-up with our contacts and keep information in order. Our social media team used Insightly for these needs for a little over a year, starting from the free trial version, then switching over to Pro.
Pros
- Simple point and click lead creation.
- Although most people use Insightly for sales, we use it to keep a list of contacts and notes. A lot of these contacts have been featured in our magazine, when we may have met at a festival or event. Easy to keep notes and individual information.
Cons
- The mobile app is lacking.
- You need to study the system a bit before you know how to use it.
- Insightly has helped our team gather and exchange leads all in one place.
- It is easy to share reports and up-to-date information on the go.
If I had to choose one software over another, Mailchimp worked great for our needs. You can jump right in and not be lost, easy to use, stand-out features, and customizable. Insightly lacks most of those things I just mentioned. We are currently using Mailchimp. However, as stated earlier, we used Insightly for project management and not sales, so Insightly may be perfect for those using it in the sales field.
