Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We use Insightly to manage tasks and projects, keep track of opportunities, and store information about clients. It helps us establish workflows for clients from acquisition through delivery. It's used by our whole organization.

  • Would love more mailing automation
  • Our organization started on the free plan, upgraded to a paid plan, and then couldn't downgrade again. This wasn't immediately clear to us when we signed up as most of the information said you can upgrade and downgrade as necessary. Apparently not true if you want to move away from paid service.

  • Team always knows what to do
  • Easy to track status of changes
I like Insightly because it's easy to get started and relatively simple to get installed in your business. I like ProsperWorks' intuitive interface and how it aims to give you a snapshot of what is happening, and what needs to happen next. I feel like Insightly is missing a bit of that.
If you need an automated sales solution, Insightly may not be for you. It's worth trying the free option to see how it fits in your company, but Infusionsoft might be more your speed if you're looking for more automated sales help.

Using Insightly

5 - Sales, production, management, billing.
1 - Insightly is pretty easy to use. If you have an idea about how to run operations and an internet connection, it's a pretty safe bet you can make Insightly work.
  • Managing Project Tasks Between production and sales team.
  • Contact Management.
  • Pipeline Forecasting.
  • We've automated project workflows to clearly define our roles, tasks, and timelines. This helps make custom projects more turn-key in how we handle them so we optimize our efficiency and keep clients informed as projects move through their stages.
  • Insightly has started adding more email capabilities and I could see us really taking advantage of more robust features in this area.
Insightly renews on a month-to-month basis and while we could move away at any time, it would be difficult to do so without a major disruption in our business.
