Intacct was the ideal solution for a growing company that wanted to use a cloud-based platform that offered a growing base of integrations with other systems. The system was implemented in an accounting department that had far outgrown its off-the-shelf software that limited the number of simultaneous users.
- Intacct has a superior level of permissions and rights so the correct people see and enter only what they should.
- Consolidation reporting and cross-entity postings could not be easier. Intacct's multi-entity features far surpass expectations.
- Intacct is leaping ahead of competitors with its strong developer community and quickly expanding system integrations.
- The custom report writer is a bit confusing and cumbersome in use, but [I] understand that it will be receiving an overhaul soon.
- Customer support isn't often needed, but it can be vague as to whether the support is to be provided by the company or its partners.
- The Learning Center needs an overhaul and update. New features are continually added to the system, but the online videos lag behind.
- Intacct has sped up the AP process from entry to payment.
Intacct offers a lean, responsive system that, as a cloud-based solution, doesn't require a hefty outlay of capital for servers and administration of same. The ERP has a very user-friendly interface and offers an incredible amount of customization.
