Overall Satisfaction with Intercom

We utilise Intercom for a variety of functions. We use Live Chat to help users on the fly and Series in order to set up automated communication and inform us of changes based on multiple criteria.

Pros

  • Platform to communicate with users
  • Can also answer basic queries on the fly thanks to the mobile app
  • Easy to distinguish between tickets and assign teams based on them

Cons

  • Quite difficult to navigate to special notices
  • Not sure on actual numbers, but thanks to series and integrations, we can spot business opportunities and know areas to work on
I use it 90% of my day, if I'm answering queries or creating new articles for the help-doc section of our website.
I personally use it with Linear and Zapier, to get some numbers from the users based on their usage of the Opteo platform. This helps us make informed decisions and easily get breakdowns for a specific segment of users.

It's great for daily communication between users. There are some nice integrations, such as SnapCall which provides instant video/screen sharing, that help us take that a step further.
