Overall Satisfaction with ISL Light

In a world full of Cybersecurity threats, every business should be wary of where their traffic is routing through, especially with free remote software alternatives. ISL Online addressed this issue for us with the on-premises solution, and only allowing the countries of interest access via our ISL Online Applicance. Remote Support is now a breeze for our technical staff, lower latencies make it truly responsive.

Cons

  • After the last few updates, it has improved, but was not troublesome
  • It is always an asset for us, technical staff do not have to travel as often anymore.
I gave this rating out of personal experience. As mentioned, you need to do a bit of config to setup the on-premise hosted version, but once it is up, it reminds you of "set and forget". Our technical staff has rarely to never complained that the service is interrupted or troublesome.
Support is always quick and responsive, although I only had to contact support for license renewals over the past few years, so in essence, once a year. We made use of ISL Online at other companies too, at that time there was no real contender in the market according to my knowledge. We decided to stick to it.

You need to access that remote server without user or admin intervention? ISL Online AlwaysOn solves this issue. I love the recording feature too; it helps with knowledge sharing and auditing requirements. The on-premise hosted version is quick to update. Setting it up requires a bit of configuration, but once up and running it tends to remind you of a "set and forget" scenario.
