Overall Satisfaction with iSpring Suite

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use iSpring Suite as our primary authoring tool for all e-learning courses created for the organization. I have been building courses for technical software training, soft skills training and sales training. As well as videos for customers on how to use our customer portal. By moving some of our intensive training program to the e-learning space, it is opening up time and opportunities to have deeper discussions about the content, rather than spending all of our time in the classroom explaining the concepts.

Pros and Cons

Pros

The screen cast tool is exceptional, it was far better than any of the other authoring tools I tested. It allows for complete and total editing capabilities.
The suite being inside of power point, allows you to take advantage of all of the capabilities of microsoft, with the added benefits of turning it into an interactive elearning course, without having to completely learn a new system.
The "manage narration" tool is extremely helpful, being able to line up the talk to text narration with slide changes and or annotations with a quick click of the mouse makes it extremely easy to get the timing correct.

Cons

When previewing a course, to make sure it is functioning properly and looks good, you cannot make any quick fixes. You have to exit the preview to make the change, then reload the preview and start over. The preview can take a minute or two to load, so it becomes a bit tedious.
I would like more layouts, backgrounds and templates.
I would like to be able to combine quizzes within interactions- rather than having the quiz after an interaction, I would like to have quiz questions pop up throughout the interaction.

Return on Investment

The human brain needs to see/hear new information more than once to retain the information. Bringing in iSpring Suite is allowing me to get more repetition to my sales floor, which is speeding up their onboarding time period.
It is a quick way to create visually appealing company announcements that are being viewed at a much higher percentage than company-wide emails, allowing for quicker adoption of company-wide changes.
It is freeing up more of my time to spend on coaching and helping struggling employees.

Usability

I gave it an 8, because it is fantastic but nothing is perfect! Prior to purchasing iSpring Suite, I tested 15 authoring tools, and had concluded iSpring Suite would be the most seamless transition and the most user friendly. There are small inconveniences I would change, but I have no real complaints yet.

When comparing features, price point and ease of use, there was no question which I was choosing. iSpring Suite offered more features and was the easiest to use. Additionally, it was one of the most cost conscious choices. It was a no brainer!

iSpring Suite is a great comprehensive tool that is user friendly and easy to use. iSpring Suite's support center is also unmatched. The volume of tutorials and explanations is incredibly helpful, whenever I can't remember or don't know how a part of the system works, I can find the answer along with videos or pictures showing step by step instructions within minutes.
